Independent Transportation Network Lehigh Valley (ITNLehighValley) is seeking energetic, motivated professionals who wish to enhance the lives of seniors through service on the ITNLehighValley Board of Directors. We are looking for people who can share their passion for our mission of providing 24/7 transportation to seniors and visually impaired adults.
The next few years promise to be exciting ones for ITNLehighValley. We hope to significantly grow our rider membership in order to serve the growing number of seniors in the Lehigh Valley who can no longer drive or choose not to drive but wish to remain independent. There is also the possibility of expanding our service area to include more rural areas which are desperately lacking in transportation services for seniors.
The Board will support the work of ITNLehighValley and provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance. Day-to-day operations of the organization are led by the Executive Director. The Board-Executive Director relationship is a partnership, and the appropriate involvement of the Board is both critical and expected.

The mission of Independent Transportation Network Lehigh Valley is to provide dignified, community-based transportation services for seniors (persons 60 years of age and older) and visually impaired adults.
Description
ITNLehighValley provides door through door, arm through arm transportation in private automobiles to seniors 60+ and visually impaired adults 18+ in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding suburbs. Trained and vetted volunteer & paid drivers deliver rides with no limit on ride purpose.
