The Michigan Tour de Cure cycle event needs volunteer bike mechanics for their 10 mile, 30 mile and 60 mile routes. Tour de Cure is on Sunday, September 30th at Comerica Park. We will need them to travel in SAG vehicles (which will be provided ) and the rest stops along the way. Routes go through historic Detroit landmarks including starting at Comerica Park going through downtown, Campus Martius Park, Mexican Town, Rouge River Plant, around the Woodmere Cemetery, University of Detroit Mercy & Marygrove College, University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy and Detroit Golf Club, Belle Isle & MacArthur Bridge and through the historic Indian Village before returning back to Comerica Park. Shift times vary. All volunteers will get a free t-shirt and lunch/breakfast at Comerica Park and free parking.
