Redeemer Health is seeking pet therapy volunteers to provide comfort and companionship to our patients and residents. Interacting with a friendly pet can reduce anxiety, pain and improve well being.
If you have a pet who has completed a certified pet therapy program, such as Pet Partners or the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, please consider volunteering with Redeemer Health! Pet owners are formally processed as volunteers (application, physical and 2-step PPD test), and pets must be up to date on rabies vaccination.
If you are interested in pet therapy but your dog has not completed a pet therapy program, feel free to contact us for more information on how to begin the process.
