Event Team Organizers

The shelter is looking to expand their fundraising efforts by creating larger and more effective event teams. Events are typically one day, but take months of planning and the execution itself.
We are looking for volunteers who are passionate about animals and their well being. Volunteers who don't mind taking on supervisory roles and/or going on and doing the leg work (which may include, but not limited to: scouting locations, making phone calls and soliciting potential sponsors and donors).
Team leads would oversee event committees, have regular check-ins with the Volunteer Coordinator and take on their own event tasks.
Someone on the event committee may be involved with the planning of several events at one time, or just one. Monthly meetings can be expected an possible more closer to events.
Event planning/work is not a must, just a willingness to try and be self motivated.
Our hope in forming these committees will be to have more successful events and ultimately bring in more money for our Best friends Medical Fund for Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter Dogs.
