wear blue: run to remember creates a living memorial to honor the service and sacrifice of the American military as over 25,000+ runners pass through our blue mile. You will be asked to stand and hold an American flag bearing the name of a fallen service member for the duration of the marathon. You may bring a folding chair if necessary. Light morning refreshments are provided to the volunteers and you will be given a volunteer wear blue: run to remember T-shirt if you do not have one.
