We are looking for INDIVIDUAL PRODUCTION ASSISTANTS (not entire production companies) to join a local team of advocates and researchers filming a series focused on a cluster of cold case murders of African-American girls. We are looking for the right individuals to start ASAP. Below is a list of some of the responsibilities regarding the position:

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT:

  • Take diligent notes during planning meetings & filming
  • Serve as a liaison between the local & virtual teams
  • Recruiting individuals for participation
  • Keep track of continuity
  • Maintain good communication between the director and the film crew
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Research, scout, and securing permission for filming locations

  • Coordinates with the location manager regarding logistics of film scenes
  • Works on the post-production process with the local team
  • Maintains clarity of information and communication between the director and film crew
  • Ensures that all post-production deadlines are met

This is a NON-PAYING opportunity so we hope to find other like-minded individuals who also want to affect change so we are looking for individuals to start ASAP.
