The Leelanau County Board of Commissioners is seeking a resident to serve a two-year term on the Benzie/Leelanau District Board of Health.
The Benzie/Leelanau District Board of Health consists of six members, two county commissioners and one at-large member from each of the two counties. This Board is responsible for the setting policy, programs and overseeing operations of the Health Department within Benzie and Leelanau Counties.
This Board meets on the fourth Thursday of every other month at 4:00 p.m. at either the Benzie or the Leelanau Health Department locations. The November meeting will be held on the third Thursday.
