ABOUT

Nsanga Corporation is a nonprofit organization looking for new board of directors members with a passion for serving African immigrants and refugees, to connect us to others and fundraise for our cause. We especially need professionals with a background in fundraising or marketing. Members participate in strategic planning, vet programming concepts, and raise funds with the help of professional development staff. A great opportunity to have a significant impact on the cultural life of our region. Board service involves a 3 year commitment to monthly meetings, committee assignments such as Finance, Development, Education, and Governance, plus attendance at our event and annual fundraiser.

Come help make community radio and online channel happen! We're looking for folks to operate the broadcast studio board. With a litte training, you can learn how to flip the right switches and turn the right knobs to keep the KTWH ship afloat. It's not nearly as scary as it sounds. Mission Statement

Nsanga is a nonprofit organization that strives to improve the lives of refugees and immigrants from the central African region in greater Seattle by providing culturally responsive tools on case management, youth/parent engagement, advocacy, and community empowerment that leads to self-identity and self-sufficiency.

Description

Located in Seattle, we focus on family and youth development services that persist after basic resettlement services end. We provide a range of services: emergency housing, ESL classes, youth activities, (soccer, basketball, music, dance), art classes, cultural integration classes for families and human rights educational resources and activities that inform, assist and unite individuals, in the dissemination and adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights at every level of society.
