Starting out with volunteer recruitment. Looking for Committee Members, casual, from time to time; working groups; and events. We also would have opportunities for people as they are created. Events like conferences, work fairs and other mental health fairs and other opportunities; make phone calls to members from home; join committees as they arise. Help us with brainstorming new ideas and be a voice for the mental health communities. We appreciate and need your Passion!

Our mission is to be a voice of individuals with a mental health experience, and fortify opportunities that positively impact and inspire communities and support systems.
Description
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the vision to foster and embrace acceptance of all life experiences. Wellness in the Woods believes that: Recovery is possible; Mental Health is imperative; Peer support is essential; Healthy communities create healthy people. We offer Mental Health First Aid for Adults, Veterans and Youth; QPR (suicide prevention), Emotional CPR, Certified Peer Specialist training; Wellness Recovery Action Plan and maintain a Warmline for peer support.
