After our gigantic tent sale we need to box up what's left and pack it in the storage trailer. We also need volunteers with trucks to help haul trash and other items back to the shelter (less than a mile from the sale site). We also break down the tables and clean up under the tent. No application necessary, but you can stop by the shelter office to sign up if you'd like to get more information. Otherwise we'll take any helping hand who shows up.
The tent will be in the field behind Cumberland Farms. Parking will be in the field beside the tent.

Description
SCAR opened in 2010 after a group of animal lovers in the Littleton area realized a need existed for a no-kill cat shelter. The shelter has persisted as a volunteer-only facility for several years, and is still run and mainly staffed by volunteers though we put out our first hiring notice in July 2018. We care for more than 250 cats each year, offer monthly spay/neuter clinics, and sponsor low-cost shot clinics in the spring and fall.
