It takes a small army to setup our tent sale. From unloading the trailers and moving furniture to organizing items on the tables, we spend all day the Friday before the sale setting up. In previous years we had 50 volunteers throughout the course of the day. One hour or 6 hours - whatever you can spare. No application necessary. Just show up at the giant tent behind the new Cumberland Farms and let someone know you're there to help - they'll tell you what to do.
Parking will be in the field beside the tent.

Description
SCAR opened in 2010 after a group of animal lovers in the Littleton area realized a need existed for a no-kill cat shelter. The shelter has persisted as a volunteer-only facility for several years, and is still run and mainly staffed by volunteers though we put out our first hiring notice in July 2018. We care for more than 250 cats each year, offer monthly spay/neuter clinics, and sponsor low-cost shot clinics in the spring and fall.
