We are looking for compassionate people who want to listen and talk with our shelter clients. The only requirement is an open heart and a willingness to help. We do not ask you to do any household chores while you volunteer. All we ask is that you be available to the clients and hear their stories and offer compassion and a listening ear. The shifts are generally only a few hours long, and can be easily incorporated into an individuals busy life.

The mission of Hope House of Manitowoc County is to empower homeless families and individuals to progress toward self-sufficiency, one household at a time.
Description
Our goal is to house and help families with children, couples with no children and single adult women to become self-sufficient. We have been Manitowoc County for over 13 years and have assisted hundreds of families.
