Make an exciting difference in the future of Brevard students by teaching Junior
Achievement curricula! By volunteering for JA, you can inspire young people to experience the
realities and opportunities of the new global marketplace. JA is the nonprofit leader in providing
hands-on, innovative financial literacy, work-readiness, and entrepreneurship educational
needs. Volunteers are needed in all areas and grade levels (K-12) of Brevard.
We are flexible= you pick the school, day of the week and grade level that you prefer to volunteer with.
The time commitment is minimal= 30-45 minutes weekly, for 5-8 weeks (depending on the grade level chosen).
Today, JA reaches more than 4.8 million students per year in more than 100 markets across the
United States. This year, Junior Achievement of the Space Coast (JASC) will reach more than 11,000 Brevard students with your help.
Visit www.jaspacecoast.org for more information about JASC.

Mission Statement
It is the mission of Junior Achievement to ensure that every child has a fundamental understanding of the free enterprise system and their role in it. We educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise, business and economics, and prepare them to succeed in the global economy.
Description
JA Worldwide is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs.
Junior Achievement programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. Students put these lessons into action and learn the value of contributing to their communities.
