ORGANIZATION: Voice of Hope Ministries

Volunteers will assist care givers in the child care center. Children will be ages 6 weeks to Pre-K. All volunteers must be 16 years or older. All volunteers must have a completed background check before volunteering. Please allow at least 3 days for the background check processing. Activities will include rocking with infants, arts and crafts, music and movement, fine and gross motor skills activities, Bible lessons, and serving snacks. Toddlers nap time is 1-3 pm. Volunteering can take place Monday- Friday from 8-6 pm. There are 2.5-3 hour shifts.

Holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.

Description

Voice of Hope is a Christian non-profit that serves the Dallas community with the goal of "changing lives, one child at a time".

Core programs include:

  • ASPIRE after school program that provides tutoring, life lessons and a healthy meal each school day to 200 children
  • Summer Day Camp offers a safe and Christ centered program of learning and fun every June - July.
  • Family and Community Services offers fresh fruits and vegetables, canned goods, a weekly Women's Bible study and other support services.
