First of all let us say, "Thank you," for your interest in volunteering at Wolf Run. With so many opportunities we're sure you'll find just the right fit for you! Senior citizens, those who are disabled, groups, and even great people who want to help animals will find their niche at Wolf Run!
If you love taking pictures we need you! Several years ago we had the idea to use our ambassador hybrid wolves for fundraising. Offering couples a special photography session for Valentines Day went national! Since then photography with the hybrid wolves has been our bread and butter with 100% of the proceeds going to the animals! It's fun, educational and a wonderful fundraiser! If you have a creative side, love photography and can donate your time we'd love to have you join us! Shoots are done at the convenience of all involved. Since most shoots are outdoors the weather is also a factor we must consider. Sessions are usually never more than an hour long. Locations vary but are kept local!

Wolf Run Wildlife Refuge is a non profit organization based in Nicholasville,Ky. Located on the historical grounds of Camp Nelson in Jessamine County, we offer lifelong sanctuary to wildlife that cannot be released back into their natural environments. Through our educational programs, these animals serve the community through off site educational programs, field trips, and internships for all ages. WRWR has opportunities for boy and girl scout groups. those in need of community hours, and those who wish to volunteer to make our world a better place! WRWR is accredited by:
