The volunteer event coordinator would be up to date with the events happening at the shelter and will receives specifics from the chair of the event. The coordinator would find volunteers to work the event, tell them where, when and the jobs to perform. This person would organize fundraising volunteers by contacting them after orientation and asking them what their interests are in fundraising. The shelter uses Volgistic which can be logged into from any computer. Orientation is held every 3rd Sunday per month and coordinator would get a copy of the application of anyone who checked fundraising. The hours per week could be as little as 2 or as many as 10.
