- ASAS North Texas is looking for female Science Technology & Math (STEM) professionals to engage with our students during our after-school program. ASAS offers #femSTEM - an enrichment opportunity exclusively for our female students to encourage girls to engage with STEM concepts - during our daily after-school program for underserved youth.
- #femSTEM works to eliminate the gender gap that exists between men and women in STEM careers and education. Nearly as many women have undergraduate degrees as men, but women only make up about 30% of STEM degree holders. Women comprised 47% of the U.S. work force in 2015, but only 24% of jobs in the STEM sector. #femSTEM provides our female students with a safe space to explore STEM concepts, work collaboratively, and ignite interest in STEM degrees and careers.

* Participating in hands-on STEM activities with students
* Hosting a work-site visit
