VITAS Healthcare Volunteers Rock!

VITAS Healthcare is looking for a musical volunteer to help provide terminally ill patients and their families comfort and support. We are currently looking for a Musical Volunteer to visit a patient in the Central West End area (63108). Volunteers visit patients in their homes, nursing homes and assisted living communities to play a musical instrument and/or sing to share their talents in therapeutic ways. Comprehensive training, orientation and ongoing support for hospice volunteering is provided. Flexible times are available for volunteering according to your schedule and any time spent visiting patients is greatly appreciated.
