VITAS Healthcare is currently looking for a Musical Volunteer to visit a patient in the Central West End area (63108). Musical Volunteers use their skills and talents to provide listening enjoyment for patients. Volunteers visit patients in their homes, nursing homes and assisted living communities to play a musical instrument and/or sing to share their talents in therapeutic ways. Comprehensive training, orientation and ongoing support for hospice volunteering is provided. Flexible times are available for volunteering according to your schedule and any time spent visiting patients is greatly appreciated.

Description
Volunteers are the heart of VITAS Healthcare, providing friendly, non- medical support to hospice patients and their family or offering support services in the office. We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to volunteers for our patients in their homes or in nursing facilities in the community.
