ORGANIZATION: Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy

Outdoor Volunteer Days take place every Saturday morning of the year from 9am-12pm at one of our many restoration sites on the Preserve! Activities vary, but typical projects include: habitat restoration, working in native plant nursery, and trail maintenance. Open to all ages, no expereince needed. The mission of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) is to "preserve land and restore habitat for the education and enjoyment of all."

Description

The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) manages over 1600 acres of open space on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, and two nature centers with native plant demonstration gardens. The PVPLC engages volunteers in the development and maintenance of native plant gardens in order to demonstrate how gardening with native plants is beneficial for the environment.
