ORGANIZATION: Friends of the Forest Preserves

Seed Collecting
Volunteers having fun collecting seeds

You won't actually get lost in the woods with us but Willow Springs Woods is part of a 1.2 square mile (768 acres) block of rolling wooded hills, scattered prairies, wetlands and ponds, that provide a real sense of escape.

Who know's what we'll find as we walk and hunt for invasive weeds to remove, find native seeds to collect, and just enjoy nature.

Meet at the front of the parking lot (close to the entrance from 95th St.).
