Association for India's Development (AID) - Seattle Chapter is looking for volunteers to help with their stall at the Anand Mela in Redmond, WA. All sale proceeds will go towards supporting projects in India in the field of agriculture, education and human rights.

Volunteer Opportunities Include: Event Setup & Breakdown and helping with sales at the stall.

Description

Association for India's Development (AID) helps volunteers in the U.S. who are interested in sustainable development in India to connect with organisations working in various interconnected spheres. In the US volunteers work to raise awareness as well as funds for supporting efforts in India, and also study the issues and policy framework in which people are working and struggling. With more than 30 chapters active throughout the U.S. volunteers have studied, campaigned and implemented projects in areas of sustainable agriculture, water and energy policy, local governance, universal health, disaster relief, meaningful education, and livelihood generation.
