WHO?: The opportunity are for those who would want to utilize their time to provide quality care and companionship and to possibly make a difference in the life of our clients that we serve who are in the end of life.

WHAT?: Our volunteer Program is about providing extra care that is offered to patients on top of regular visits made by the healthcare team. By it, the volunteer will but not limited to...

- provide companionship

- Provide relief for the current caregiver(s) of the patient

- help in assisting with day-to-day activities

- provide activities for the patient; eg: play games, read to patient, take patient outside for a walk, watch a movie (in home), etc.

WHERE?: Our patients reside in private homes and care facilities throughout a vast area of locations ranging within a 50 mile radius from our office location. We render our care services to wherever the patient resides or is currently staying at. We will of course try to match you with the closest and convenient distance from your location.

WHEN?: Visits/Schedules are made upon the agreement between the Volunteer Coordinator, Volunteer and the Patient/Family. As much as possible the volunteer should be able to make at least 3-4 visits a month but is not limited to only that amount. Volunteers can wish for more visits depending on patient/family approval and can opt to visit other patients who are requesting for volutneer. We will of course work around the volunteers availability.

WHY?: Acceptance Hospice seeks to ensure that the patients we serve are provided the utmost care possible and that is where our Loving Volunteers comes in to provide that assurance for them. Our Volunteers will be provided the opportunity to be able to experience first hand in how they can make a difference in the lives of our patients who are terminally ill and may be in their last days of their life.

We are an organization that cares for elderly individuals who are diagnosed with a Chronic Condition that modern treatment can no longer cure or resolve their illness. We have a set of Professional Healthcare Team that renders the care they need in their last days of life. We ensure that the services provided are at it's utmost to allow our clients to receive the comfort they need and desire.
