We are in the process of planning the renewed Arts and Music Festival. We are dusting off the 16 year tradition paused in 2019.... The event is traditionally scheduled on a September Saturday, from 7:30 am - 10:30 PM. We are looking for individuals to help lead the planning and fundraising efforts for the event.

Apply here at volunteer match if you are interested in joining some 6 others on the planning team. While a model for the event exists, it is only a model. The planning team has grand leeway in creating a festival that reflects today and the future. While it is a program of the Foundation, the planning team operates as a separate volunteer team to shape the event(s). For the event we need people of all ages to volunteer staffing and participating! We need adults (young and old) to help with set up and clean up of the event, adults or families to help with the children's activities, adults to help with beer/wine ticket sale and GV merchandise sales.

GVCF is a Community Foundation (CF) that provides a broad spectrum of programs and services that address local needs and opportunities via grant making, community convening and engagement. CF’s are tax exempt, non-profit, publicly supported philanthropic organizations with the long term goal of building permanent, named funds for the broad-based public benefit of the residents in our area.

The GVCF Board and foundation team members are neighbors and friends just like you who live and work in Golden Valley and adjoining communities. The GVCF Board is engaged in programming and fund development activities that allow us to support causes that matter in our community. GVCF is guided by established criteria and decision-making processes along with input from our team, volunteers, neighbors, friends, supporting organizations, corporate partners, and contributors.
