The Jefferson Symphony Orchestra is having its annual free Pops concert in Parfet Park on Sunday, August 19. We need volunteers to help set up tables and chairs for the stage, load up music equipment, and hand out programs at the concert. We will meet at Parfet Park at 1:30 pm on the 19th and go pick up chairs and tables. We will then bring the chairs and tables back to the park and set them up. After this, we will need to travel to Wheat Ridge United Methodist Church (we can most likely provide transportation) in order to load up music equipment and then meet back at the park again to unload the equipment. Once people start to arrive, most likely around 5:30 pm, we will need programs to be passed out to the audience members. Volunteers are more than welcome to stay and enjoy the concert once it starts. After the concert is over, probably around 8 pm, we will need to load up the chairs, tables, and music equipment to take back.

Description
For sixty-nine years, the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra has been making music that thousands of people in and around Jefferson County have enjoyed. We are a community orchestra comprising more than eighty volunteer musicians.
Many individuals and businesses have supported the symphony because of what it has meant to them and their employees, namely, a great artistic resource. In the same way that good music adds a new dimension of awareness and pleasure to an individual, the symphony has brought a new dimension to the quality of life in Jefferson County.
