The mission of the St. Louis Arc is to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to lead better lives by providing a lifetime of high-quality services, family supports, and advocacy. New volunteers must complete paperwork and volunteer orientation prior to starting.

The Arc is looking for volunteers to supervise and socialize with people of all ages who have disabilities during its Parent Cafe program! Volunteers will engage with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities of all ages, ranging from small children to adults. Volunteers will facilitate activities chosen by the people they are supporting and based on what is available in the building at that time: games, movies, etc.

There are two dates to choose from:

Thursday, September 26th
6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Monday, October 28th
6:00 pm - 8;30 pm

It is an affiliated chapter of The Arc of the United States.
