Volunteer recruitment for the ESL program occurs throughout the year. The program has fall and spring semesters . Once the semesters begins, there is always need for teacher assistants, substitute teachers, tutors and admin support.

  • Bilingual (Spanish) Computer Teachers: Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Atlas Preparatory High School. The course runs for 8 weeks and curriculum is provided.
  • ESL Teachers and Teacher Assistants: Daytime and evening teachers needed for both online (Monday and Wednesday morning) and in-person (Tuesday and Thursday evening) courses at Atlas Prep High School.
  • Student Support & Registration: Either at Atlas Prep High School Tuesday and Thursday evenings or at Marian House with weekday shifts.
  • Administrative Assistant: Support the ESL department, weekdays at Marian House. Flexible days of the week are possible.
  • Tutors: small groups or individualized tutoring, day/time dependent upon the schedules of the tutor and student(s)

Catholic Charities provides social services throughout a 10-county area with most of the services targeted to people living in Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, El Paso County and Douglas County. The agency provides services to people of all races, backgrounds, and beliefs.

Catholic Charities Provides Help and Creates Hope for people who are poor and vulnerable in our area through the efforts of a wide range of programs and services.
