Approximately 130 Volunteers are requested to:

  • Access Monitor (Advise personnel not to go into restricted areas)
  • Animal Welfare
  • Escort (Media and Airport Visitors)
  • Logistics (Equipment Deployment/Tracking)
  • Parking Attendant
  • Patient Tracking
  • Registration
  • Runners
  • Safety Monitor
  • Sanitation Monitor (to ensure food area/restrooms stocked properly)
  • Scribes (Incident Command)
  • Transportation Coordinator (Patients)
  • Triage/Medical Care Support

*Experience in emergency response or in exercises is recommended but not required. Just-In-Time training will be provided on-site.

  • Water will be offered on the 14th (registration day).
  • A Continental-style breakfast, boxed lunches, and beverages will be available on the 15 th (operation day).
  • Volunteers with a known volunteer agency might not have to attend on the 14 th, and should ask their home agency.
  • Volunteers affiliated with a known agency are preferred.

CCOEM personnel are leaders in the field of emergency management and will be recognized for their professional competence, dedication, and willingness to assist other emergency management partners throughout Ohio.
