We would like to have our disaster preparedness plan reviewed and updated. Our agency has 600 vulnerable adults in King County who receive caregiving services from our agency. Our system for training caregivers and their supervisors needs to be more robust in the event of an event such as an earthquake, sustained power outage, or adverse weather event.
The updated Disaster Preparedness plan would keep clients and their caregivers safer should a major event happen.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review existing agency procedures in disaster preparedness
- Research best practices in disaster preparedness
- Make recommendations in disaster preparedness
- Develop new procedures in disaster preparedness
- Help create a disaster preparedness implementation plan
