Village Volunteers is a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Seattle that helps people find meaningful volunteer or internship opportunities with one of our partner organizations in Kenya, Ghana, India or Nepal. We work closely with each volunteer/intern to provide a placement that matches their academic and professional goals. Our partner NGO’s are led by talented and inspirational community leaders who are making a difference at the grassroots level and we invite international volunteers to join them in finding sustainable solutions to community challenges.
Guided by the communities we serve, Village Volunteers offers the opportunity to work in areas such as:

When someone decides to become a Village Volunteer, our staff will provide comprehensive preparation that includes an understanding of the culture and all considerations necessary for travel. We assist interns/volunteers step by step as they prepare for their trip, and work with our partners to make sure students are welcomed and taken care of. Our volunteer program is true immersion done safely and responsibly.

Mission Statement
Village Volunteers is a non-profit based in Seattle that works in partnership with villages programs in Ghana, Kenya, India and Nepal to assist in building long term solutions for commuity survial, education and growth. Areas that are addressed are: Public Health Education (Malaria , HIV/AIDS, clearn water), Organic Agriculture, Women's issues, Orphan support, Literacy, Education, Appropriate Technology, Conservation, Environment, etc)
Description
Village Volunteers works in collaboration with rural NGO's in and is committed to village autonomy, and preserving cultural heritage to support environmentally responsible, sustainable community development. We assist programs in grant writing, fund raising, program support and provide international volunteers.
