We are looking for individuals who love meeting new people and building relationships with Seniors! Our Seniors are Hospice patients would just need a little companionship and love. Your commitment as a volunteer would be a minimum of one hour a week with no maximum number of visits. The relationship building is completely up to you; as is the amount of time that you spend with your new friend. Your visits are flexible, you can go mornings, afternoons or evenings and any day of the week that works best for you. I would love to meet with you to discuss the program and your interest in giving a little something back to your community!

Mission Statement
The mission of Hospice Services at Methodist ElderCare is to provide the best hospice care possible for patients located in the counties of Fairfield, Franklin. Pickaway, Delaware, Licking, Fayette, Union, and Madison.
Description
The philosophy of services focuses on maximizing the patients quality of life through an individualized comprehensive care program designed to meet his/her physical,social,emotional and spiritual needs (24) hours a day, (7) days a week. Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team of staff and volunteers. In addition, following the patients death, hospice continues to maintain contact with family members through a (13) month bereavement program.
