Join a team of creative art enthusiasts like you and help lead an all-ages art activity right in the museum. As volunteer, you'll have the chance to dive deeper with the museum, empower visitors to create their own art, and even get to make something of your own!
These week's activity is creating patches from carved stamps that promote positive messages and self-expression.

About Evergreen Historical Cemetery
Location:
on Coral St next to Harvey West Park, SANTA CRUZ, CA 95060, US
Mission Statement
Evergreen Cemetery is one of the oldest public cemeteries in California, started in 1850. It represents a highly diverse set of stories about how people and families came to Santa Cruz in the 19th Century. Highlights include Louden Nelson, Isaac Graham, a large Chinese section, many civil war veterans, a Masonic section, woodsmen, and many families that are still represented in Santa Cruz today. In a beautiful and unusual setting terraced up into the hillside next to Harvey West Park, Evergreen is an important historic landmark that has the potential to be a major historical attraction with great educational value as well. Evergreen Cemetery is owned by the Museum of Art & History, and a current volunteer-led effort is underway to restore the cemetery and to create historical interpretation for visitors.
