Greenheart Exchange, a non-profit student exchange organization, is seeking volunteer host families in the greater Philadelphia area to host an Italian participant, Alberto, on our Independent Homestay Program. Alberto is in our Language Buddy program, so he will be tutoring his host family in Italian for a total of five hours per week. He will also spend time with the host participating in everyday activities and exploring the community on his own, with the aim of improving his English and getting to know American culture. Below is more info about Alberto:

• Alberto, from Italy, is 28 years old. He arrives Wednesday, August 15th, and will stay for one week, until August 19th. Alberto is passionate about the law (he has a Law degree) and he is currently working on his second degree in International and Diplomatic Relations. He also enjoys singing and acting in a musical theater academy! He describes himself as a curious person who is passionate about language, travelling, and cultural exchange.

Hosting can help you make an international friend and explore your own community through new eyes.

Hosts provide a bed, meals, and a warm and safe environment. Our students come with spending money and insurance. A local American coordinator provides ongoing support to the student and host family. Hosting can lead to lifetime friendships!
