Mission Statement
Champions for Children builds strong families with safe, thriving children in the Tampa Bay region. Each year, we touch the lives of approximately 40,000 individuals through our child abuse prevention and family education programs.
Description
At Champions for Children, we envision a world where children are no longer abused and strong families are central to the success of the entire community. We’re seeing our mission fulfilled each and every day working with real families and real children. Our history has shown that this is an attainable goal.
Since 1977, Champions for Children builds stronger families in the Tampa Bay region through its child abuse prevention and family education programs. Through our programs, parents receive hands-on training, support and the information needed to face the many challenges and pleasures of raising healthy, happy and well adjusted children.
We focus on the entire family; we make sure children are loved and nurtured by providing parents with the education, support and resources they need to raise well-adjusted, productive future adults.
It is a critical undertaking, but it’s one for which we are uniquely qualified - Last year alone we provided support and education to nearly 40,000 people in Tampa Bay.
