The Sufi Service Committee of Boston is looking for caring volunteers to help us craft our vision to aid the homeless. Our initiatives are designed to most effectively meet the pressing needs of our community. These needs are twofold: the outer need is poverty and economic inequality; the inner need is our craving for connection and our desire for something wholesome. We provide inner warmth in the form of love, and we provide outer warmth in the form of coats and food drives- warm coats, warm bellies and warm hearts!
Whether your talents lie in the creative arts, in the intellectual sciences or in some more earthy profession, please come and share your lovely self with us! Whatever you bring will be welcomed with gratitude.
We very much look forward to meeting you. Please know that our doors are always open.

Where and When: Every Sunday at 10AM, as a group we either sort and fold clothes or serve food to the homeless. Other days (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays), individual volunteer opportunities are available.

We are founded on the principle of Love and respect for all people, including our volunteers, so when you come here, we will welcome you with open arms. The Sufi perspective is that Service to others is a joyous activity, so our organization is suffused with joy.
