Become part of the 2018-19 Intermountain AmeriCorps team! Impact our local communities through full-time service with area non-profit organizations, schools, and other educational settings. Intermountain AmeriCorps has placed service-minded individuals in schools and nonprofit organizations throughout North Central Washington since 1993 with the goal of enhancing what they are able to accomplish and strengthening our communities.
Positions are currently available in Wenatchee, Leavenworth, Brewster, Omak, and Nespelem.
Sites include Wenatchee Valley College in Wenatchee and Omak, Women’s Resource Center, YWCA NCW, Community Choice, Chelan-Douglas Community Action Council, Tierra Village, SkillSource, Wenatchee School District, Nespelem School District, and Brewster Elementary School.

Positions will begin Late August - Early October. Qualifications vary based on the position, but all candidates must have at least a high school diploma/GED (some sites prefer or require a college degree) and be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Benefits: $472.22 biweekly - $1,307 per month living stipend; $5,920 education award upon successful completion, 10.5 - 12 month service term; student loan forbearance; basic health insurance; childcare, if eligible; training and experience.

Intermountain AmeriCorps is a part of a national service movement striving to rebuild communities while broadening educational and life skills opportunities for citizens. AmeriCorps offers opportunities for Americans to make a substantial commitment to serve their country, mobilizing at the local level to build a national movement for positive change.
Intermountain AmeriCorps has served rural school districts and community agencies in North Central Washington state since 1993. AmeriCorps Members strive to meet the needs of youth and expand coordination between school districts, community members, and other social service and community agencies. As a team, we work towards measured goals throughout the year to see the impact made on organizations, community members, and students that members serve throughout our region.
