ENROLLMENT FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR PONY POWER THERAPIES FALL SEMESTER IS NOW OPEN!
Pony Power Therapies is looking for volunteers to assist in therapeutic horse-back riding lessons as lead walkers for our Fall Semester! Lead walkers are responsible for handling the horse during lessons and only those with previous horse experience will be assigned as Lead Walkers. Lessons run Sunday through Thursday. Our Fall Semester begins on Tuesday, September 11th and runs through to Thursday, December 20th.
Volunteer Handbook, application and schedule will be emailed to you and application needs to be returned to our office prior to registering for a volunteer training class.
Pony Power Therapies gives special needs and at-risk children and adults a unique opportunity to ride, care for and interact with horses. Our riding and non-riding activities enhance individuals' physical, social and emotional well-being in a safe, nurturing farm environment.
