Orlando City Soccer Club is implementing a waste reduction and recycling program. Events at our Stadium venue generate a great deal of waste and recyclable materials. We are committed to diverting as much of these materials as possible from the waste stream. To help conserve natural resources, and protect the environment, we ask that you join us in a partnership by participating in our waste reduction and recycling program.
We are seeking highly enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for the environment and who want to learn more about recycling. Must be a team player and be able to communicate effectively in order to get the job done. This is a DIRTY JOB! Hey Mark Rowe, wanna visit? You'll need to be prepared to get messy. This job requires physical activity (LOTS OF FAST PACE WALKING) in 80+ degree weather for a committed 6 hours. Make sure to eat a hardy dinner before and please prepare for rain as games are rain or shine.
There will be a Recycling 101 orientation from 5 PM to 7 PM. Attendance is a MUST in order to volunteer. This will include a tour of the concourse and waste/recycling facilities. You will also learn how to recycle and how to pick up throughout the stadium safely and efficiently.
Looking to fulfill community service hour requirements? This is the job for you! In addition, each participant will receive 2 tickets to an upcoming Orlando Pride home game. Looks like a WIN - WIN here.
Kick off is at 7:30 PM. Please sign waiver attached before arriving.
