ORGANIZATION: SAY San Diego

SAY San Diego

We are always looking for yoga instructors to help kids during our after-school programs. There are 40+ elementary and middle schools that have after-school programs. We try to place volunteers at a location that is near their home/work. After-school programs start at 2:30 PM, 3:00 PM, 3:30 PM or 4:00 PM, depending on the school. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, you must have availability during program hours.

Volunteers work a minimum of one hour per week and must make a commitment to volunteer for a minimum of 4 months. Volunteers need to pass through a clearance process that includes fingerprinting, TB testing and drug screening.

We recruit volunteers for our after-school programs twice a year: July/August and November/December. Volunteers begin in September or January.

You can read more about the program and program locations at:

https://www.saysandiego.org/program/extended-day/ and https://www.saysandiego.org/program/primetime/

Note: Periodically, we have the need for a yoga instructor to help at our Military Family Resource Center. Please inquire if interested.
