We are in need of fundraising volunteers. Fundraising volunteers attend events where they run a concession stand with the help of staff. A percentage of the proceeds goes to SPIN and back into our programs so that we can help people in need within our community.

It is a fun time. Many of our volunteers become lifelong friends. At the same time, we get to feel proud of the work we are doing to help the community. Many of the events are big concert events or sports events. We would love to have you join our group.

Mission Statement

Serving People In Need (S.P.I.N.), is a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization dedicated to alleviating the effects of poverty in the Central Florida area. We collect, process and distribute donated items to our clients, various non-profits, thrift stores and pantries. Through our programs we actively assist and support individuals and families affected by poverty, by delivering essential household goods, furniture and food directly to them.

Description

We help people who are financially struggling make their way back into the community in a substantial way. We try to figure out what are the limitations that are causing people to not be where they need to be to maintain their household. We provide them with material needs, but also with tools to improve so that they may enter back into the workforce and be able to be where they need to be financially.
