VeloFest Community Initiative is excited to host the Kick Off Training Ride for Bike MS: Cycle to the Shore! We look forward to bringing you this opportunity to enjoy one of the most beautiful stretches of highway in all of Florida! For this year, due to PGA Tour's amazing expansion and many improvements, we are flipping the script just a bit and riding from historic Vilano Beach, Florida. We are in need of REST STOP VOLUNTEERS at the following locations....
- Rest Stop #1 located at Turtle Shores Drive - Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082
- Rest Stop #2 located at Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve - 6527, 505 Guana River Rd, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082
- Rest Stop #3 located at Mickler Beach - 4265 Mickler Rd, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082

This July 21 event will provide full SAG for 40 & 20 mile ride options including rest stops, lunch and post event beverages. Additionally, we will have a 10 mile, no drop ride for all who are curious about group riding and unsure about your pace and current ability. Again, this ride is open to the entire community!
We are so excited to be partnering with the MS Society for this great event in St. Johns County and look forward to see you July 21!

Description
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more MS research, offers more services to people with MS, provides more professional education programs and advances more MS advocacy efforts than any other MS organization in the world. Through its home office and fifty-state network of chapters, the National MS Society provides assistance to over a million people annually in its continuing mission to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis.
Seeking out and engaging volunteers to the MS cause is at the very core of our business. Each year the Society organizes a series of community events that provide many opportunities for the enthusiastic volunteer. The Society offers three key fundraising activities: The MS Bike Tour, MS Walk and MS Challenge Walk. The Society also engages volunteers to help influence law-makers at the federal, state and municipal levels toward legislation important to people with MS. The Society is looking for passionate volunteers with expertise in areas such as: marketing communications, public relations, corporate and donor development, medical, legal, administrative and organizational expertise.
