SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) is part of a national volunteer program that provides free insurance counseling to Medicare recipients. SHINE counselors help seniors understand their health insurance coverage-- and can often help them save hundreds or even thousands of dollars on prescriptions, co-pays, and other health care expenses.
No experience is necessary-- We provide free training! We also reimburse mileage expenses for our volunteers!
Being a SHINE counselor is an incredibly rewarding experience. SHINE counselors have helped Florida seniors save millions of dollars, and have provided hundreds of thousands of seniors with peace of mind.
