Shelter volunteers are needed. Schedule varies and is flexible. Shifts are available throughout the week in the morning, afternoon, or evening depending on individual preference. Shifts are brief - an hour or more, depending on your availability. Duties include sweeping, laundry, kennel upkeep, feeding and exercising animals in kennel, and providing nurturing. This is a small kennel and usually only houses between 1 to 4 dogs maximum, one longtimer cat and the occasional stray.
Must be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation, and pass fingerprint criminal background and drug test.

Description
Neptune Beach Animal Control is a small shelter that operates locally in the Neptune Beach area of Florida. We have a handful of volunteers who take short shifts throughout the week to ensure the animals housed at the shelter are nurtured daily. Duties include cleaning of kennels, feeding and playing with animals, and following instructions provided by management.
