Pet Valu Adoption Center
Pet Valu Adoption Center Volunteers

Felines For Adoption Cat Rescue utilizes the adoption center at the Englewood Pet Valu store for adoption events during the week and on weekends. We need cat loving people who are willing to assist us with the process of finding our cats a new home.

Volunteers are responsible to visit our adoption center cats on their selected day(s) of the week (a daily schedule will be made for all volunteers) The time of day is not relative, but the person must be there between the store's opening and closing hours. The cats held in this location require their cages to be cleaned, litter, water and food replaced as needed. We would also like our volunteers to assist potential adopters with any information regarding the cats themselves, and the Felines For Adoption Cat Rescue adoption policy. All volunteers are provided training and have help from our staff and adoption directors whenever they need it!

All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and have a driver's license.

Mission Statement

Felines For Adoption Cat Rescue is an all volunteer all cat rescue group who's mission is to lower the number of cats euthanized every day in shelters throughout the tri-state area (NY, NJ and CT) simply due to a lack of space.

Description

Felines For Adoption is a volunteer group working in northern New Jersey assisting in the rescue and rehoming of cats who are at risk in local animal shelters throughout the tri-state area. Our organization is looking for great people who love animals to assist us in this process! Every time a cat is adopted, we have room to save another kitty from the shelters, where they are at risk of euthanasia. If you would like to get involved with our mission, please email our volunteer director; volunteers@felinesforadoption.org.
