Fundraising Coordinator

Specific Duties

Coordination of Fundraising Activities:
  • Leads and implements fundraising activities as agreed upon by the Board
  • Coordinates with organization members to organize for volunteers, materials and promotion
Communication:

  • Participates in Board meetings and other activities as required 
  • Provides regular monthly updates on fundraising activities to the Board
  • Maintains regular documentation and evaluation of all fundraising activities
  • Manage and update sponsor/donor information in coordination with Secretary
Community Capacity Building:
  • Increase the awareness of PIASD on a provincial level
  • Researches and contacts potential funders, including community donors
  • Explore and apply for grant applications
  • Represents Pawsitive Independence at community meetings, outreach events, radio/TV shows and other community settings. 
Strategic Planning:
  • Leads the development of an annual fundraising plan and budget
  • Regularly reviews fundraising plan and makes modifications as required to meet targets and goals

We are a charity organization commited to providing fully-equiped and trained companion and service dogs to Saskatchewan families with children with autism between the ages of 2-18.
