Hello! If you are someone who is great at taking photographs and is also outgoing enough to stop folks and ask them to "strike a pose", this will be the perfect volunteer opportunity for you. Our non-profit organization (jelf.org) is hosting an exciting event for 600 people event on Tuesday, August 28 at a large ballroom in the heart of Buckhead.
We are looking for approximately 3 individuals who own a good camera and can volunteer throughout the evening (event is from 6:30 - 8:30 pm but we'll need you there 1 hour early to ensure that everything is prepared) to take photos of the guests posing together to be utilized on social media and very likely a magazine opportunity, too. From 7:45 - 8:30 pm, there is a seated program/dinner during which time you will take photos of the events on stage from varying angles.
The only thing we ask (besides showing up that night) is that you agree to promptly (within at least 24 hours) send us the photos (Google Drive or Dropbox are great ways unless you have a memory card you can give us) so that we can turn around and share on social media ASAP.
In exchange for your hard work, we are more than happy to provide a FABULOUS review/write-up for you about your work wherever you would want us to publish it. We will happily compensate you with a gift card for yoru gas to/from the event as well but graciously look at this as an in-kind favor that we hope will benefit you and us. It is a major accomplishment to photograph such a large event! =)

JELF's mission is to grant interest-free, last dollar loans for higher education to Jewish students in need. What makes JELF different than the government or a bank? JELF's 5-state region includes Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. Higher education includes college, graduate school and degree-granting vocational programs of study. We are proud to boast a 99% repayment rate. JELF strongly believes that money should not stand between a student and the education that he or she needs to excel in life. Without a higher education - at minimum, an undergraduate degree or vocational training - the doors to many of life's opportunities slam shut. The loans granted by JELF ensure that Jewish students have the potential to fulfill their educational goals.
