The position of volunteer maintenance worker serves by assisting and carry out the repair and maintenance of Acres of Diamonds. Help support Acres of Diamonds in the mission of creating lasting change for homeless moms and kids through a caring community.

Major Responsibilities

  • Perform basic repairs to the transitional house and apartments such as plumbing, electrical fixtures, broken appliances/equipment and other minor repairs
  • Provide maintenance to interior and exterior of the house and apartments including painting, carpentry, grounds clean-up, and new equipment/furniture installation.
  • Other tasks as determined by volunteer and staff.
