Interested in encouraging community support to prevent child abuse and neglect? Seven HOPE Collaborative Regional Councils meet monthly throughout Riverside County (in Moreno Valley, Riverside, Corona-Norco, Southwest Riverside County near Murietta/Temecula, San Jacinto, and Blythe).
Parents, professionals and community members can become involved in child abuse prevention. As a member of a regional collaborative (near your home/work), you could help at a public awareness event, increase outreach and public education, or help seek funding for additional services.
Collaborative councils support county-wide goals set by the HOPE Board of Directors to address the diverse and specific needs of children and families in their area of the county. A large fundraising event is part of the December holiday season for foster children.
If you want to work towards a shared vision of a safe and secure environment for all children in Riverside County, please contact Kathy Knox at 951-275-5055 or KKnox @ fsaca.org or Cynthia Guerrero at 951-686-3750. More information on the HOPE Collaborative at www.hopecollaborative.org.
