We are looking for experienced volunteers to help in various auction positions. Please let me know your first and second choice and if you are available for the following:

1. Check-In/Registration- Check-in patrons as they arrive. Check-in booth will be supplied with patron packets. Detail-oriented people are needed to confirm patron payment and any details they may need for auction night.
2. Raffle Sales- During the reception and silent auction, raffle tickets are sold to guests. Winner will be announced prior to the live auction.
3. Data Entry/Check Out- People are needed to file and run receipts to winning bidders. Volunteers are needed throughout the evening.
4. Silent Auction/Item Pick Up- Overlook the silent auction tables prior to each closing. Field patron questions. Ensure that no bids are placed after each silent closes. After the close, take bid sheets to the computer area for data entry. After live auction has begun, closed silent items will be removed from the silent item tables and taken to Item Pick Up for organization and pack up. Take down and pack up display décor and promotional materials. Some Silent auction people will also be asked to close centerpiece auction and super silent auction, pack up and move items to Item Pick Up
5. Spotters- For the live auction, spot bidders for the auctioneer. Assist Live Auction Runners in finding the winning bidder. This job is for the outgoing volunteer.
6. Runners- For the live auction, take bid sheets from the recorder after each bid closes, have the winning bidder sign the sheet give them a thank you gift and then turn it in to the computer area for entry.
7. Receipt Runners- During the live auction, the receipts runners will be stationed in the data entry area and given receipts to bring to bidders that have done quick check when they checked in. Bidders that receive their receipts should be advised that they can go directly to item pick up with their receipts.
8. Recorders- For the live auction, recorders will document bidder number and winning price in the auction log and prepare the bid sheets for the runners. The recorder will also keep a running tally of the live dollar amounts for the auctioneer’s needs. Recorders must be very detail-oriented.
9. Floater - If you are willing to fill in wherever needed.
