Helping people feel good, do better, and find solutions

Pilot Program with Kenneth Young Center and School District 54

Kenneth Young Center is proud to announce our expanded, collaborative partnership with Schaumburg Consolidated School District 54 to launch a pilot program in three schools: Lakeview Elementary, Muir Literacy Academy and Eisenhower Junior High. This pilot, developed in response to community needs, will support the mental health of young people which is pivotal to helping them develop into healthy and happy adults.

In short, KYC will provide counseling and therapy sessions for students and their families in school-based settings that are more familiar and comfortable to them.

We are looking for committed and caring, volunteer support as an on-site Greeter for the students and/or their families. If you, or perhaps someone you know, is interested in learning about this incredible way to give back to the community and to help change the lives of those most in need, please contact us today.

ONE NIGHT a week, and you can change the Future!

(Afternoon/evenings will be on Mondays, Wednesdays and/or Thursdays at Lakeview Elementary, Muir Literacy Academy and/or Eisenhower Junior High. Let us know which school location and day(s) you may be interested in serving.)

** Kenneth Young Center is a local, community mental health and older adult services provider. For almost 50 years, we have served to help people feel good, do better and find solutions. **
